FRANCE 2001 CAMPSITES

Below are details of the campsites we stayed at and the costs. We found it unnecessary to book ahead despite being there in the peak season and the only place we had problems finding a site was at Lac d'Annecy which was extremely busy but sites a couple of kilometres away from the lakeside had plenty of free pitches.
All sites we stayed at are listed in the French Federation site guide (official star ratings shown) and those marked
M in the 2001 Michelin Campsite guide which is more selective although we found many sites of comparable standards. Pitch fees were for two adults and electricity (+e) is shown as extra.
NOTE Fees have been converted to approximate Euro values at  €0.16=1FFr
