Lovely site within a wood of young trees each dedicated as a memorial to someone or an event. Hard-standings but grass very wet and muddy. electric hookups. No other vans

Skye Small commercial site mainly for tenters and serious hill walkers. Beautiful bay setting at base of Cuillin Hills. Basic facilities and good shop. Pitches in grass bays in meadow. No electric hookups

Oban Good site in walled garden so felt crowded as it was virtually full. Good facilities and bar open in evenings. 13 mile drive to Oban for night life! midgey in evenings

Rally site short grass by river about 1.5 miles outside Ripon. Interesting small city with cathedral. Site also a CS

Rally field on commercial site with statics and swimming pool. By a main route to Alton Towers so road busy at  times. Pleasant places nearby include Oakamoor in Churnet Valley. Interesting building opposite site - Les Oakes Architectural salvage and garden centre

Rally field on commercial site with many other camping and static van sites around but field quite open aspect. Good beaches about half a mile and lots of other sandy beaches around Anglesey. South Stack and Breakwater Country Park worth visiting for cliffs and birds.

Gravel hard standing areas, very tidy with flowers in small field at rear of farm buildings. Water and waste at farm buildings.

Camping Club, Walkers Field, overflow site for summer only around a football pitch. No electrics but toilet facilities available in adjacent site. In town centre and near lake. Very full and town very busy.

Basic farm site in rough grass field with old farm machinery. Water and CDP at farm across road. No electric hookups.

CL in separate field. Small listed site with several seasonal pitch vans. Basic toilet block. No electric hookups. Near sea rocky beach and sands of Morecambe Bay with good views. Walking around Arnside Knott (NT adjacent) and nature reserves nearby.

Neat CL with individual pitches grass/gravel. Views to Pendle Hill and pretty villages nearby. Some noise from main road. Clitheroe very busy with traffic.
